Quote of the month...

"Standing tall is a very admirable thing. There are very few stories in history of heroes who slouched to the rescue. Likewise, most individuals don't look up to people who are drooped over."

52 Weeks of Blessings -- week 22, internet jacked

This weeks blessing is: a job! I'm SO thankful that my husband has a job. He has always had at least one job, sometimes two. He's very hard working and I consider that a great blessing! I'm also thankful for my sitting job.

Internet-jacked?! Well, my friend is here for about a month. She is doing her rotations for becoming a PA. Since I still live in the dark ages -- ya know no wireless net round here -- I've given up my cable cord to her so she can get her work done. I'll try and wrestle it away from her once in a while and post a note or two.... maybe catch up on all ya's lives......

And lastly please go say hi to my baby sister who just joined the blogworld!

Love the look of the blog--it's great.

And I agree--jobs are a blessing, especially with the crazy economy the way it is right now.

I really think this is a top 3 blessing. Alan just started a new job and while we were transitioning we were out of work for 6 HARD SCARY weeks.

Hope to have you pop in when you can. Love your new header.

Having a job is definitely a blessing. One we don't think much about it unless it's gone.

My husband had been out of work for about 5 months a few years ago. Definatly a blessing for a job, and it gives me a new appriciation for his hard work ethic!

I agree. It is good to have a husband in work, providing for us all, and work is good for the soul -so they say ;)

I love your new blog layout!!!!!

This is a definite blessing!! I am also so thankful for a hard working DH. I am looking for a P/T job right now too. On the wkends like CVS or something or maybe 1 child to babysit.

You turned down a CALLING??? I did not know we could do that!!!!! What did they say when you said no to nursery? I will not put my twins in nursery as a 2 yr old BROKE 2 fingers in there and needed 5 stitches because the leaders were talking to each other WAY too much. So if it is to teach Primary i will have to turn it down. And I think I will g o MAD if they put me in nursery. Yes, lets send me over the edge with MORE one yr olds. LOL
