Quote of the month...

"Standing tall is a very admirable thing. There are very few stories in history of heroes who slouched to the rescue. Likewise, most individuals don't look up to people who are drooped over."

Creativity

As we've seen before, our desks have other uses that only children can think up.... here we have Scott taking a rest inside this desk. I guess when the homework gets too much, just open it up, crawl inside and take a break!
Scott is lining up our pumpkin collection... look he found one that can hang on!

These three pix are of Cody's chess board and pieces. He couldn't find the chess game, so he made one.... guess he's feeling better, he stayed home from school with a fever and headache.

He couldn't find a black marker, so he used pink.

Thanks! Too bad the creative juices don't flow when it comes to say, cleaning the front room or their bedrooms.... oh well ya can't have it all, huh?!

Kudos to the mom who allows the creativity to flow! Yay Carrie! :)

Cecily--I think it fun to see what they come up with. I like to see what your daughter comes up with, she amazes me.

That looks like way to much work... But I'm limited on my knowledge of chess anyway. I just bought a pumpkin today and remembered why I hate buying pumpkins... I was regretting at least planting pumkins... Oh well there's always next year.
