Quote of the month...

"Standing tall is a very admirable thing. There are very few stories in history of heroes who slouched to the rescue. Likewise, most individuals don't look up to people who are drooped over."

Another Bathroom Conversation..

Start early, that's what I say.... it's never too early to explain that one day you have to grow up and wear pads! OK so I don't normally explain those things to 3 yr olds, but when this happens ya gotta do something...
M: "Scott, get your undies on, please."
S: "No, I want what Emmy has in her panties."
M: "WHAT?! Emmy has something in her.... panties...? Em, what do you have?"
E: "Nothing, " as she walks backward toward the door.
Now a few minutes before they were walking around handing out pads to all the kids like they were candy or something. Cody had given his share back to me and so it hits me THAT is what she has.
M: "Now, Em, you don't need one of these." as I make to remove it from her panties which she had amazingly placed in the right area.
E: "Why not?"
M: "Because you're not old enough. You have to be like Shantel's age, and then you won't be quite so excited about having I mean getting to wear them."
E: "So, when I get a big girl's purse and I'm Shantel's age, then I get to wear them? Oh OK." And she walked away off down the stairs just as happy as anything.
M: "Scott, see Emmy can't have one either, so put on your undies."
S: "OK," all better and in his undies. He walks away with his 'Since sis can't have it I guess I don't need it' attitude.

That's hillarious. Isn't it nice when they're that young that a simple explination is perfectly fine with them. To bad it doesn't last! :)

Ooooohh hoo hoo hoo! (that's the sound of my hooting laughter)

The adventures at your house are hilarious! Good thing you're documenting this stuff, b/c your kids wouldn't believe the stories about them, otherwise! hahahaha

:-) yes, I'm not sure I'd believe them if I wasn't here to endure, I mean enjoy them!

Now thaaaat's funny! I'm not as nice as you and I'm not going to say I'm sorry for laughing because I'm not!

What is it with kids and that stuff? Isaac once made a blow gun out of a tampon applicator! Ewww. (Wait, you might know that already since you stinkin read my whole blog!)

Thanks for the laugh Carrie...even if I did read it at 1:20 am when I should be in bed!

Cecily- Yup and I knew you'd enjoy it since I did read the whole thing and laughed my head off at the tampon gun! ... you're suppose to be in bed at 1am?! :-)
