52 Weeks of Blessings -- week 8-- Baptism

This week I'm thankful for the blessing of baptism.....Today Robby and his buddy were baptized. Robby said, "Today is the best day of my life! I'm gonna remember this day forever!"
Saturday was also a special day for Shantel, it was her first Temple trip. Took these shots of the kids afterwards. Shantel went home and wrote 5 pages in her journal about her first Temple trip. I think it was a good day. She also said that it was a day she would never forget! This was Cody's 3rd Temple trip.Sibling love?!

Oh, baptisms are so special.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. To answer your question, No, the rag curls didn't take much time to dry that I noticed. Their hair was sopping wet when I did them at about 9:00 at night and I took them out by 8:00 in the morning and they were completely dry. I'm not sure if you could blow dry them dry though. I've always just let them dry naturally over night.

It was a really nice weekend with lots of good memories! It is an awesome experience to attend the temple with your kids! The first time the kids ever went was when Robby was sealed to us. They have such great memories of that time too. Cody was 9 1/2, Shantel had just turned 8 and was baptised the day before, Savanna was 5 1/2 -- It was SO cool to see them all in white! Robby was so cute last night. It was about 8:30 and we were getting ready to read and pray, he looked over at Troy and I and said, "I'm still clean, I haven't sinned yet!"

No way.......have you seen my blog today? My Grace was baptized on Saturday as well. She waited to get baptized with her cousin and it was a wonderful experience for both of them. How neat to have the baptism and temple experience.

I'm glad it was so nice! our daughter's first temple trip was a disaster. Leave it to her to have issues everywhere. It's a talent.
