Foto Story Friday #49 --- Chicken

PhotoStory Friday
Hosted by Cecily and MamaGeek

Since we are a train town, we often see trains parked on the sidelines. This is a road I often cross during the week. One day Cody and I were out shoe shopping, coming up with nothing that would fit him or his style, we went for a drive. It is difficult to just pull over my full suburban just to take pictures. (the kids get a little restless and attempt to climb out and run fast!) We took advantage of it just being the two of us. I felt a little odd walking along these engines parked here snapping photos, but I got over it and as I was leaving I turned and saw this:
Chicken anyone?!

That's funny... I wonder who will win.

trains are so cool. My parents used to live near a train station in Philly and my littlest brother was always flattening pennies on the tracks.

I wouldn't want to be in either engine -- but I'd pay to see the video (provided no one was hurt, of course).

♥ Chicken, would so not want to do that with a train! :)

No way!
That was a great post.
Had to smile that you felt a bit uncomfortable parking in a place like that. Then you remembered that you had no children with you. Sensible not to take them....... but they'd have loved it!

Trains are so much fun. It funny, I live in a train town and I'm yet to take a picture of a single one. I may have to try and fix this soon.

You were brave enough to park and bring us pictures we don't see everyday, so thanks! I can sense the danger, and that last photo is pretty amazing.

So, you'll have to tell us who won! What an interesting predicament.

How funny! We have many trains come through - mostly Canadian though. And just one town over, is Junction City, you can just imagine how many tracks run through that town!
