Foto Story Friday #96-- Easter photos

Easter Morning after showers we set up a backdrop and gathered a few props for our Easter Photos.

I think I need a few more backdrops.... sometimes they blend into the black and white. I think I need a nice brown.

Wonderful family shots.

If you're looking for something a little different in back drops, you might try this:

I took an old white sheet, and tie-dyed it with a double dose of dark brown, let it dry and then tie-dyed it again black. It came out looking a LOT like the muslin back drops you'll see in many studio photographs.

Food for thought -- and it's cheap.

Chris' idea is AWESOME. We both need to try that one.

I was so out of it on Easter Sunday that I'm lucky I took a pic for my 365 project. I didn't even THINK about taking shots with the kids' loot!

Looks like they all had fun! Love all the smiles (lately all I get is the back of my kid's head every time I pull out the camera!)

The pics. are all nice. What a great family you have! I've enjoyed looking through your blog and am following to see more.

Thanks for stopping by. My favorite was the 2nd picture too.
I like laundromats as a backdrop, especially if the equipment is colorful!

Hope to hear from you again,
Thanks,
LL

You have a very lovely family. If you don't mind my saying the black back round does make it look like it's night time.

I love that you did this! I've never thought about trying to take formal pictures like that.

Chris' tip is awesome, I bet it would be perfect.

Cute pictures! I really need to get out my backdrops and make my kids use them.. other kids do all of the time, not my own though.
