Quote of the month...

"Standing tall is a very admirable thing. There are very few stories in history of heroes who slouched to the rescue. Likewise, most individuals don't look up to people who are drooped over."

52 Weeks of Blessings -- Week 17-- Music

Music! What a blessing it is to have music to set the mood, lift your spirits make you feel better, take you back in time!

Well, for the flash back music mostly we just buy songs online but here we still have some cassettes around and Cody discovered he likes a little Heart, Poison and Bonjovi maybe even a little Richard Marx. Most often we listen to Country but every once in a while I need a little Chicago or the above listed groups. Whatever mood you're in there is music for it! I love to put on some music and sing and dance with the kids ... yeah good times!

Thanks for always commenting on my blessings, Carrie. I just peeked at yours. Loved your shaving post oh I so remember those days, and how I miss a full house. Happy Day.

I LOVE music too. It's a great blessing. I have lots of Michael McLean CD's too. I'm with you though...I mostly buy online now. I-Tunes is cheaper! :)

Music is so powerful!! I love all the music you listed, I especially liked Bon Jovi growing up. Now my favorites are LDS groups like Cheri Call.

I like that you took pictures of your music collection. :)

I so totally agree with you -- music is a gift from above to help us deal with life here. grin. I don't have as much LDS music as I'd like, we only discovered Especially For Youth a couple of years ago. We love those CD's...even my kids. (grin) We love Kenny Loggins and Chicago 17.
