Potty Training Discoveries

So my sweet Scott is learning how to stand to pee.... he stood three times yesterday, and discovered that the stool doesn't stay put if you lean in while aiming.... also, if you sit on the rim of the bowl facing the tank, if you're really good, you can put the seat down on your legs and fold your "part" up and over the seat the close the lid on it! sounds fun and comfy, huh? I have NO idea why he did this but it was entertaining!

Trucker"s Life

My Dad's self published book of poetry. The book jacket reads: 'Trucker's Life, by poet Daren Flynn, is a breath of fresh air and authentic Americana. In a straightforward style, the poet sings the "Eighteen Wheel Truck Driving Blues" and the "Been Gone Too Long Trucker's Blues." He notes with irony that in a life characterized by mobility, the trucker misses the first step his baby takes. Out on the supply lines that link the country together, the trucker can hardly connect the pieces of his home life because he is "Never Home." In the poem titled "Trucking Is Tough," The poet tells with folk song resonance the hard-luck story of a hard-working friend.
