Quote of the month...

"Standing tall is a very admirable thing. There are very few stories in history of heroes who slouched to the rescue. Likewise, most individuals don't look up to people who are drooped over."

52 Weeks of Blessings- week 36 --GNO

Girls Night Out is this week's blessing.  We don't have these very often..... um, like never!  I used to have some ladies over on Friday nights to scrapbook, but the kids were always trying to join us.  This past Thursday Ashley called a bunch of us to come over Friday and have a GNO at her house.  We had a blast!

These are shots of the evening sky as we made our way to Ashley's.  You have to understand that we live in a very rural area and our ward boundries are rather large {with the stake boundries being extremely large, like most of Eastern MT and parts of western ND}, it is at least a half hour drive to her house.  All these photos were taken out of the car zooming down the freeway around 75 MPH.

There was, of course, yummy stuff to snack on.
We played a couple of games and visited.
We had a white elephant game that was fun.
We're all hoping to have another fun night soon!
Here we all are with our white elephant gifts!  Thanks, Ashley, for the night away from the kids and husbands!  {and for all you ladies who didn't show up, shame on you!  You missed a fun night! :)  }
