"Standing tall is a very admirable thing. There are very few stories in history of heroes who slouched to the rescue. Likewise, most individuals don't look up to people who are drooped over."

Foto Story Friday #90-- Nature's Mud Flaps

Sometimes it is interesting what nature creates. We have had quite a bit of snow round here and it gets rather cold so when the temp rises to the high 20's, things start to melt and we run around with our coats open or off cause, it feels like a heat wave! In the midst of all of this tiny drops of water dripping from the vehicles make the most interesting "natural" mud flaps!
Front tire flaps.
Rear mud flaps.
Over the tire top flaps.
Look outside the box!

Don't you love the way photography makes you see things in all sorts of new ways?? I notice things now and get excited about taking pictures that I never would have thought twice about before!

That's funny! I thought of chocolate icicles, too! And Uncle Byron's laughing 'cause he grew up in S. Dakota and said, "O ya, a warming trend!" haha

I love the snow but the accompanying mud I can do without. Oh spring come quickly!

Too much! It took me a little while to figure out what it was. We don't see things like that around here!

We've been seeing a lot of those "mud flaps" around here too. I'm so ready for spring. No. I mean really really ready.

We've got those mudsicles going on with our cars right now too. But here's to being able to unzip the jackets! :)

Fascinating! I would never have thought of that and calling those hanging muddy icicles mudflaps is perfect. Very cool! :)

I love that you thought outside the box and showed us something common to your area, but not so common in others.

All I can say is: That's COLD. :)
