And now to my grumpiness! Have you ever had something that you just love? you know like a great camera that you couldn't find anything wrong with? and then to have that same something out of the blue, just go on the fritz?! Well 2 years ago I spent a fairly good amount of money {$549.99} on a camera and photo printer, about 3 weeks ago the said camera just started to turn itself on and off! That's right, we're sitting down to breakfast, when Robby says, "Mom, your camera is being weird!" Sure enough, I soon hear the camera turn on and the lens opens and yup it is in the off position, when I go take a look! Thinking it's the batteries, I get new ones. I think that has solved it, when about 6 days later it starts all over! I try different types of batteries all to no avail! if the batteries are in the camera, it is turning itself on and off til they die! Since I can't afford a new camera, I'm forced to take pictures in a most un-enjoyable way ... I have to put the batteries in reset the date and time take the pictures and hope to turn it off and get the batteries out before it turns back on! AARRGGH! Of course the warranty was only for 1 year! I sent an email bemoaning my troubles.....They are sorry that I'm have troubles, did I check the FAQ? the troubleshooting section?

♥ That looks just like my camera! Mine hasn't started doing that YET!!! I hope it's just a fluke!
My kids have been on one today as well! They're driving me looney!
Serious- I SURE hope yours doesn't go wacky too. I know someone else who has this camera and hers is fine.... I'm sure it's just me who has the insane camera with a mind of its own! :p
Actually that looks like my sisters camera and my youngest daughters. I have a Canon so I haven't experienced this. So far I have not heard of that happening...very strange.
Oh and kids - grumpy = bad beginning to a day. Smile!
Egghead {aka Vonda}- I hope they do not experience this with their cameras. Like I said I love it until...
Half of twindom took a nap and it was peaceful for a while! :)
Oh I'm so sorry, I love when you get the "we're sorry" response from the company that really means ha ha no more warranty we don't HAVE to care! Sorry girlie!
I wouldn't use a white toothbrush either. hee hee
Kate- Yeah I LOVED that they were "so sorry"! :S :(
Thanks for taking Scott's side! :p :)
My 3 1/2 year old has cried for the past 3 weeks because we changed his toothbrush! Sure, I could go buy another "Diego" one just like before, but he would know it's not the same.
Sorry about the camera. I got mine for Christmas as a gift and when I flew to Florida had it in my carry on. Took it out to use it and the lens has a crack. So I aim and shoot without knowing if I am focused, can't do settings and can't delete. So frustrating.
Kids freak out over the weirdest things. Men think they cannot understand women, *I* think woman cannot understand preschoolers!!!
Good luck with the camera. That STINKS!!!! Walmart has a Kodak Easyshare that is red with 8+ MP and 3X zoom for $149. I saved up and bought one for Michael for Valentines Day. It even takes panoramic pictures. It is also TINY so you can take it everywhere. And you know... a couple mommy and wife holidays are coming up!!!(My camera is big like that one and it is hard to lug around with all the other bags I have to carry so I usually end up missing picture moments.)
♦ Cynthia- If you got the camera for this past Christmas, you should be able to get it replaced.... maybe. I agree with Debra, I'm not sure we understand preschoolers! I want to understand him.....
♠ Debra- Thanks for the camera info. Scott other thing is tags, he had to have them out, because "they tickle" him. The tags never bothered him until Sunday then he went into a panic cause I wouldn't remove it, I cut the stinking tag out durring Sacrament meeting! I SO don't understand preschoolers!
