Showers, Highlights, and Hitch-hikers!

We have lived in this house for 3 years and the whole time our shower has been the most pathetic thing on the face of the earth! I'm not kidding! This shower's water pressure was pitiful.... unless you wanted a freezing cold shower, then the pressure was awesome!

This above picture is close to a good day before, pretty difficult to get clean in that stream! Well, yesterday Troy decided to see if there was a repair kit for our faucet..... guess what, for $30 he fixed it and now...

We can shower like the rest of the civilized world! I can not tell you how happy this makes me! :D I told Troy it was the best Valentine's Day gift he could get me! :) Wish he had thought of that about 2 years and 11 months ago! Better late than NEVER!

Yesterday, I highlighted a friend's hair and she returned the favor... My hair is darker than hers, so it didn't get quite as light, but it was a fun afternoon. Such a flattering picture of me, don't you think?! :)

EmmaLece is just hitching a ride!

Keely- thanks! No the mom of the week is a spotlight over at from dates to diapers. you can nominate a mom by going over there. I think she has spotlighted 3 ladies. Thanks for thinking I qualify! :)

Wow, I'm glad your shower doesn't just drip anymore. Maybe I should get my husband to fix a shower we don't use!

There's nothing like pampering yourself with a new look and a great shower. I love days when so much gets accomplished.

Our children are very close to the same ages! And my last two were supposed to be twins about the same age as yours, but I lost that pregnancy so mine came one at a time instead. You have such a beautiful family!

Oh you poor woman!!! That shower... I am remembering our 6 weeks last year in short term housing in the house from H%%^&&^ which had water pressure like that. And the toilet did not work. And I was potty training when we moved in. I just want to forget it. How was the water pressure for baths? I remember ours took THIRTY minutes to fill it up 1/4th of the way for baths. Thankfully it was winter so we gave them every two days those 6 weeks.

And I agree... MUCH better gift than flowers & Candy!!!

Debra- we pretty much gave up on baths! it was not worth it, when the twins were younger, I would run the trickle in the tub and use a cup from the sink to speed up the process! SO glad that it works right now! IT truley was the BEST gift! :)
