While chatting with my sister I asked her for help. She suggested we both take pictures through a jar:
before that though I tried a few things on my own.....
My washing machine sorta looks a bit distorted.
Cookie, not sure how distorted it looks, but it was another attempt.I'm going to have to keep trying this one until I feel like I understand it.

I know, distortion is kind of a difficult thing. But I think you got very creative. I especially love the thru the jar. What a great idea.
Your first shot came out nice and distorted. I like the idea of taking the picture through a jar. Maybe a magnifying glass would work too.
