Quote of the month...
"Standing tall is a very admirable thing. There are very few stories in history of heroes who slouched to the rescue. Likewise, most individuals don't look up to people who are drooped over."

52 Weeks of Blessings -- Week 21-- Vehicles
My gas guzzling vehicles! Yes, they cost an unbelievable amount of $$ to run, but I'm ever so thankful for them! I'm glad that I don't have to walk everywhere, that I don't have to hitch up a team of horses to get the family around. I'm glad that I can sit in warmth and quickly get where I need to be when it's cold and wet outside. I'm glad that I can sit in comfort and be cool when the sun is beating down on the world.

♡ Huge blessing! I totally agree!
I love my suburban too. It's so nice to be able to fit everyone plus our stuff. I love it when we can all ride together as a family.
I guess after that I must agree.
I was complaining about the amount of $ it is taking to drive these days, but you are right... My suburban is a blessing indeed.
I completely agree! We got the Yukon, of course be bought the thing two months before we found out we were having Brooke! So, it has NO "trunk" space & now it barely holds a stroller. That is my ONLY complaint about it. I even gladly buy the gas, because I love it so much!
Great Blessing!!
ya, not loving gas prices but grateful we don't have to walk like the pioneers.
Well, if you can be grateful for the huge cars you have I suppose I can be grateful for my much smaller and cheaper car.
P.S love the pic of aunt Donna with her work horses, I guess those cd pics are useful after all.
I love your perspective. It makes even my dumb old squeegie needing van a blessing!!
Good perspective. Considering the price of gas, it's nice to be reminded having a car is a huge blessing still.
That is a good reminder. When I filled up yesterday all I could think about was pain at the pump! I am very glad to have to working vehicles.
One of my friends just converted to vegetable oil as fuel! But until that is more commonplace I will enjoy my minivan as it is. A much needed blessing.
I hope that I never have to find out what it is like to not have a vehicle. And yes even though it hurts every time I fill up...I love cars!
